KSR at SEC Tipoff '26

Day one featured the likes of Mark Pope and Kentucky, John Calipari and Arkansas and Nate Oats and Alabama, among others, with each coach bringing a couple of players with them. What happened on day two of the SEC Tipoff ’26 in Birmingham? KSR is here to rapidly react to it all.

Why is Todd Golden so bitter about Denzel Aberdeen’s departure? The Florida coach got a little testy while also talking about his title run and how the Gators plan on running it back. How about Steven Pearl’s debut at media days? That was quite the change for Auburn. Rick Barnes also opened up about the post-Zakai Zeigler era in Knoxville and his big plans for Ja’Kobi Gillespie and Nate Ament. The legendary coach also talked about why American youth basketball is a disaster and how the next generation of talent is being failed.

Oh, and don’t forget about The Dentist, Chris Jans.

Zack Geoghegan and I break it all down on their way out of Birmingham ahead of the six-hour drive back to the Bluegrass State. Tune in below:

After that, enjoy the latest episode of Sources Say, also from SEC Tipoff ’26 — but with ESPN’s Myron Medcalf! It was a fun one, talking about the Wildcats’ chances to not only win the SEC, but the whole thing.
