A night after clinching their first playoff berth since 2013, the Cincinnati Reds fell back into the loss column at the hands of the Minnesota Twins 7-3. The Reds got on the board first as Joey Votto and Mike Moustakas each drove in runs in the top of the first inning to take a 2-0 advantage. Minnesota went on to score five unanswered runs, four of which came off of Reds starter Luis Castillo who exited after just four innings. After scoring a run and threatening further in the seventh inning the Reds cut the lead to 5-3 but would never get closer than that. https://twitter.com/Twins/status/1310033254666457089 The Twins tacked on two insurance runs in the bottom of the seventh to set the final score of 7-3. The loss dropped the Reds to 30-29 on the season while the Twins improved to 35-23. Tomorrow's 3:10 p.m. Eastern Time rubber match will be the last game of the regular season for each team. Cincinnati remains in a tie for second place in the National League Central with the St. Louis Cardinals and can clinch at least the #7 seed in the National League Playoffs with a San Francisco Giants loss tonight. @BRamseyKSR
