If you are going to Kroger Field on Saturday for Kentucky‘s highly anticipated matchup vs. Ole Miss, there are simple but wildly important instructions to follow before you arrive. The magnitude of the Wildcats’ home-field advantage depends on it.

There will be no black or grey or retro yellow or neutral beige or purple pullovers because the wind cuts through you. It’s blue or white, no exceptions.

And it’s not either blue or white, depending on how you’re feeling when you wake up Saturday morning. It’s blue or white, depending on where you sit at Kroger Field. Because it’s the annual Blue-White Game and we gotta show the Rebels they’re not coming to Lexington for a walk in the park — even as two-score favorites.

Sections 1-16, 34-40, 101-110 and 201-211, you will be wearing white. Sections 17-33, 221-231 and boxes 1-74, you will be wearing blue. If it makes it easier, the away sideline on the north side and student section will be in white while the home sideline on the south side will be in blue. If you don’t have those colors, get those colors. You have six days to find something that works.
