Farmer got into this mess for misusing public funds during his time as head of the state's Department of Agriculture.  He hired his friends, his girlfriend, he used state money to make improvements to his home, and he allegedly stole now infamous VCRs and fax machines.  He paid $125,000 in restitution and served 27 months in jail. Farmer is scheduled to be released from the Halfway House in least March.  In the meantime he'll be monitored closely while searching for employment opportunities.  It'll be interesting to see what kind of job Farmer can get. Hopefully he finds the time to turn over a new page in his life to get back in the BBN's good graces.
