One current and one future Kentucky Wildcat will be featured in a six-part docuseries on Amazon Prime called One Shot: Overtime Elite — an inside look at the Atlanta-based basketball pathway to college and the pros.

Freshman guard Rob Dillingham was among the league’s highest-profile athletes this past season, averaging 14.7 points, 4.9 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per contest for the Cold Hearts. That came after a late move to OTE last November following the shutdown of Donda Academy — Kanye West’s former private school.

KSR received exclusive footage from the docuseries, which features a behind-the-scenes look at Dillingham’s move from Donda to OTE and the process of getting the five-star playmaker to the Cold Hearts.

“Now the question is, where does he go?” General Manager and Head of Basketball Damien Wilkins said. “What roster do we put him on? Who do we move?”

“We’ve got to figure out how to situate the teams predicated on Rob (Dillingham) and looking at the best fit for the overall league,” Head of Coaching Kevin Ollie added. “Because he’s a really talented player.”

One Shot: Overtime Elite will also feature four-star center Somto Cyril, who announced his commitment to Kentucky in June. Dillingham’s former teammate with the Cold Hearts is one of the featured players in the docuseries’ official trailer.

The six-part Prime exclusive is a high-stakes, character-driven docuseries that uncovers the devotion and resilience of Overtime Elite players and coaches through every loss and victory — on and off the court.

One Shot: Overtime Elite explores the lives of OTE’s next generation of basketball stars from around the country as they navigate through various challenges and grueling training in pursuit of a professional basketball career. The series will take audiences behind the scenes of a league that is disrupting traditional paths to the NBA and inspiring an entirely new generation of basketball players and fans alike.

The series featuring Dillingham and Cyril premieres Tuesday, September 5 on Amazon Prime Video.
