Your referees tonight? Doug Shows, Mike Nance, and Ron Groover. By now, you should be familiar with Shows, who enjoys tight sleeves and calling technicals on John Calipari. According to ye olde BTI, Shows has officiated eight Kentucky losses during the Calipari era, the most of any referee.
In fact, the last time Kentucky played Tennessee in Knoxville, Shows threw assistant coach John Robic out of the game. That was just one awful thing that happened in UK's 30-point loss to the Vols that night, one game after the Cats lost Nerlens Noel for the season. Something tells me tonight will go differently.
