Rupp Arena's student section will get KENTUCKY Y'ALL banners at the Yale game
University of Kentucky students who attend Saturday’s home basketball game in Rupp Arena may be thrilled to find an early Christmas present waiting for them in the eRupption Zone when they arrive. With the Wildcats hosting those brainiacs from Yale, KY for KY will give fans in the student section their own special edition KENTUCKY Y’ALL banner to parody UK’s opponent.
“We’re supplying the student section with KENTUCKY Y’ALL banners to champion our team while distracting Yale players,” says KY for KY.
The last time Yale played Y’all, the year was 1968 and Larry Pursiful scored 25 points for Kentucky in a 79-58 win. Cotton Nash and Carroll Burchett added 16 apiece to secure the victory.
On Saturday, the Wildcats will again remind the Ivy League’s Bulldogs that Y’all > Yale.
