2025 SF Samis Calderon Planning to Take an Official Visit to Kentucky

2025 small forward Samis Calderon is a new name on Kentucky’s board. He’s now planning to take an official visit.
The 6-foot-8, 200-pound small forward from Overtime Elite’s Cold Hearts Team (Atlanta, GA) is planning to take an official visit to Kentucky sometime in November, source tells KSR+. Kentucky head coach Mark Pope was recently in to visit with Calderon, among other prospects, on Oct. 24.
Calderon has already taken official visits to Auburn, Michigan, and Tennessee. He has an official visit planned to Kansas from Nov. 3-5.
Calderon is originally from Brazil. He moved to the United States in 2023 and is currently in his second year with the Overtime Elite program.

2025 small forward Samis Calderon of Overtime Elite (GA) is not currently ranked by On3 or the On3 Industry Ranking. 247Sports rates Calderon as a four-star prospect in the 2025 class.
Calderon plays at Overtime Elite, which features 2025 Kentucky basketball commit Jasper Johnson. Kentucky is also recruiting a pair of 2026 prospects from Overtime Elite in Tay Kinney and Adam Oummidoch.
