Links Good morning, friends. I hope everyone had a pleasant, restful Friday night. Some stuff's been happening in the world of sports and writers more eloquent than me have been discussing it. Let's give them some hits: - Want a Trey Lyles and Karl-Anthony Towns update? Here's a Trey Lyles and Karl-Anthony Towns update. Lyles recently worked out for his home-town team (the Indianapolis Pacers), while GM's are saying that Karl has the potential "to be great." I concur. - The Memphis Grizzlies hosted a pre-draft workout yesterday that included former Cat Andrew Harrison. Some other familiar faces were also in attendance. Ryan Harrow, Terry Rozier (Louisville), and Josh Richardson (Tennessee) also showed their skills to the organization. The Grizz hold the 25th overall pick in the Draft. - Good job to Sha'Keela Saunders, who won the bronze medal in long jump at the NCAA Track and Field Championship in Eugene, on Thursday night. Sha'keela jumped 22 feet, 1.75 inches - which is pretty far. - Shout out to Dock Ellis, who allegedly threw a no-hitter 45 years ago while high on LSD. Ellis  claimed that he was relaxing (and dropping acid) with some friends in LA -when his girlfriend reminded him that the team had a double-header in San Diego that day. He then caught a shuttle, made the game, and pitched a no-no against the Padres. While pitching, Ellis claimed that he thought Richard Nixon was the umpire and Jimi Hendrix was at bat. Don't do drugs, kids. --- Stay tuned for some news and some fun throughout the day.
