Score predictions for 2025 Kentucky high school football playoffs: Semifinals
The 2025 UK HealthCare Sports Medicine State Football Finals continue this week with semifinal action happening all over the state.
A dozen games spread across Kentucky’s six classes will take place under the lights on Friday. By the end of the night, we’ll have 12 high schools left ready to fight for six state championships next weekend at Kroger Field. 20 of the remaining 24 schools are either ranked in KSR’s latest Top 25 update or are receiving votes. We have three top 10 matchups on the docket, headlined by the KSR Game of the Week between No. 22 Bell County and No. 2 Christian Academy-Louisville.
As we gear up for more postseason action, we’re predicting the score for every semifinal game on the schedule for Friday. Using the Massey Ratings — a system created in 1999 by statistician Kenneth Massey that was used to help determine the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) until 2013 — we can look up score predictions for every game happening across the state. The Massey Ratings are computer-generated ratings based on historical trends and current-year statistics.
