Score predictions for Week 10 of the 2025 Kentucky high school football season

We’ve made it to Week 10 of the Kentucky high school football season.

Headlining Friday’s packed slate of games will be the KSR Game(s) of the Week doubleheader. We’ll have North Laurel hosting South Laurel (receiving votes in the KSR Top 25 poll) out in London, KY, while No. 21 Madisonville-North Hopkins will play host to No. 17 Owensboro out west. Scott County, just outside of KSR’s Top 25, will have a chance to make a big statement against No. 5 Highlands, as well.

As we gear up for Week 10 action, we’re predicting the score for every major game on the schedule for this weekend. Using the Massey Ratings — a system created in 1999 by statistician Kenneth Massey that was used to help determine the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) until 2013 — we can look up score predictions for every game happening across the state.

For a brief explanation, the Massey Ratings are computer-generated ratings based on historical trends and current-year statistics. With that in mind, it will need a few weeks’ worth of games before the numbers begin to hit their stride. However, you won’t find a more reliable system to use in terms of predicting scores throughout the first couple of weeks of the regular season.
