The 2025 Kentucky high school football regular season is quickly coming to an end.

Headlining the Week 9 schedule will be the KSR Game of the Week showdown between the Danville Admirals and the hosting No. 19 Lexington Christian Academy. Nearly every Top 25 team in the latest rankings update will take the field on Friday against district foes. Also of note, Scott County, a team just outside of the Top 25, will travel to Versailles for a massive matchup with No. 15 Woodford County.

As we gear up for Week 9 action, we’re predicting the score for every major game on the schedule for this weekend. Using the Massey Ratings — a system created in 1999 by statistician Kenneth Massey that was used to help determine the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) until 2013 — we can look up score predictions for every game happening across the state.

For a brief explanation, the Massey Ratings are computer-generated ratings based on historical trends and current-year statistics. With that in mind, it will need a few weeks’ worth of games before the numbers begin to hit their stride. However, you won’t find a more reliable system to use in terms of predicting scores throughout the first couple of weeks of the regular season.

Below, we have included score predictions for all of KSR’s Top 25 teams, including the additional teams receiving votes from our panel of 10 voters. If your school was not included in the prediction sheet, click the link here to find its team page. There, you’ll be able to see predictive scores for this weekend and the rest of the season, along with updated results.
