The 31st meeting of tennis' most popular sisters, Venus trailed 2-0 early before taking control with five-straight game victories. Of course, that would not be Serena's last laugh. She followed up by winning the second set 6-3 and overcoming a 4-2 deficit in the final and decisive set to defeat her sister and improve her record in the sibling rivalry to 19-12. "The last couple games I just wanted to win because I've been losing a lot of those tight sets lately, so I said, 'I really need to try and win this,' not for this (beating Venus) just for my game and my confidence. I really tried to focus on those last two games," Serena said in her on-court interview. https://twitter.com/WTA/status/1293969557434990592?s=20 In the quarterfinals, Serena will face either Shelby Rogers or Leylah Annie Fernandez, which will be determined tonight.
