Short and Insufficient Profile: Brad Hart

by:Broseph07/20/08
OK, so, during the dragging, sweaty, uncomfortable months of summer, we flippantly mentioned that we would be profiling every player on the team. It will only be fun and worthwhile, we decided, if we were both informative AND funny. Well, it would be really fun if we were drunk the entire time, but that's neither here nor there. Thus, for these ten weeks leading up to the UL game, we will have at least one profile a day. We hope you enjoy these as much as we enjoyed the idea of doing them, but not the actual task. Oh, and we see the egregious "that's what she said" in the headline. We'd also like to use this italicized space to apologize to the families of the players whose last names end in 'A' or 'B' because these early ones might suck a little. CH That's his cuz. Boring, Obligatory Vitals Height--6'1" Weight--218 40--Corey's 5.7, Brad's 4.8 Year--SO (Redshirt) Position--Long Snapper Hometown--Marion, KY (Crittenden County) Unfair comparison to NFL-er:  Marion Barber because he's from Marion, KY.  Or your favorite NFL long snapper.  We give you options here on KSR. Most interesting fact from his media guide bio:  SEC Academic Honor Roll 2007...Was the valedictorian of his senior class, received the UK Presidential Scholarship, served as Student Council President, was in Future Farmers of America, Young Republicans, Beta Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  The kid's goin' places. Something we made up about him:  He wears his sunglasses at night. Items of legitimate interest: Brad (his real picture) served as long snapper on FG, PAT, and punt and appeared in all 13 games at a very integral, yet underrated, position. Outlook for 2008, based on light research by our minions: He is a returning starter for both PAT and FG snapping duties again this year, while JJ Helton is expected to be snapper on punts.
