Kentucky football spring practice has been underway for about two weeks now. With that, the coaching staff has invited plenty of high school recruits to check out what the program is like during the offseason.

This weekend, in particular, will be a significant one. A handful of nationally-ranked prospects will be in Lexington to watch spring practice, including a current commit. We’ve compiled a list of them that you can find below. Other recruits plan to visit, but the players we’ll talk about are the biggest names expected on campus.

Before we dive into the details of this weekend’s visitors, let’s quickly check in with our sponsor.

March 30-31 visitors

Cameron Miller (ATH) 5-10, 155 | Winslow Township (Atco, NJ)
4-star: No. 305, No. 11 ATH

  • Get ready to hear more of this moving forward when it comes to Kentucky football’s wide receiver targets: Daikiel Shorts is leading the charge. Just a few months into his new job as the Wildcats’ WR coach, he’s been attracting top-tier pass-catchers from all over the country. Cameron Miller is one of them and he’ll be in Lexington this weekend once again after visiting last month for Junior Day. Miller has a top five of Kentucky, Michigan, Rutgers, Syracuse, and Wisconsin. A final decision is tentatively set for July. There are two RPM picks logged in favor of Miller landing at UK.

De’Zie Jones (WR) 5-10, 175 | DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ)
4-star: No. 312 overall, No. 44 WR

  • Let’s mention Coach Shorts again, shall we? He’s also the lead recruiter for De’Zie Jones, another four-star wide receiver from the New Jersey area. KSR reported over two weeks ago that Jones is actually coming down to Lexington with current commit Stone Saunders, who we’ll talk about more below. Jones is coming off a recent visit to Penn State (and will take an OV there this summer) earlier in the month and holds offers from the likes of Ohio State, Texas, South Carolina, Florida, and many more. Former WR coach Scott Woodward initially offered Jones but Shorts has taken over ever since and has Kentucky in a good position ahead of this weekend’s visit.

Stone Saunders (QB) 6-1, 205 | Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, PA) KENTUCKY COMMIT
3-star: No. 446 overall, No. 30 QB

  • Kentucky commit Stone Saunders is one of two quarterbacks committed to the 2025 class. KSR reported earlier this month that Saunders intends to be in Lexington with De’Zie Jones and that remains the case. Saunders has been a Kentucky pledge since August but a new offensive coordinator, Bush Hamdan, is now calling the plays. This weekend will serve as the first in-person meeting between Saunders and Hamdan.

Tae’shaun Gelsey (’25 WR) 6-4, 210 | Riverside High School (Jacksonville, FL)

  • Tae’shaun Gelsey hasn’t fully broken onto the national scene just yet, but he’s on the verge. The 6-foot-4 wide receiver from Florida (being recruited to Kentucky by co-defensive coordinator Chris Collins) is already considered a four-star by the folks over at Rivals. Gelsey posted to social media on Thursday that he plans to visit UK this weekend. Collins offered him all the way back in May 2023. Gelsey holds additional offers from the likes of Auburn, Boston College, Indiana, Maryland, Wake Forest, West Virginia, and several others. Just this month, he’s visited UCLA, Southern California, Florida, and Florida State.

Lebron Hill (’25 WR) 6-5, 190 | Morton Senior (Hammond, IN)

  • Clocking in as a 6-foot-5 wide receiver, Lebron Hill’s stock is beginning to grow. He actually picked up an offer from Miami (FL) on Thursday and holds additional scholarships from Louisville, Purdue, and Vanderbilt. Kentucky has yet to extend an offer, but Hill announced on social media that he’ll be in Lexington this weekend, tagging Coach Shorts in his post. Hill has one official visit locked in right now this summer to Vanderbilt.

Da’Ron Parks (’26 IOL) 6-4, 305 | Hurricane (Hurricane, WV)
4-star: No. 109 overall, No. 9 IOL

  • The lone high school sophomore on this list is Da’Ron Parks, who KSR confirmed as a visitor over two weeks ago. Already considered a top 150 prospect in the 2026 class, Parks received his offer from Kentucky’s new offensive line coach Eric Wolford late last month. Wolford had previously offered Parks when the former was coaching at Alabama — there is a longstanding relationship between the two. Penn State, Miami (FL), Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, and Tennessee are among the other schools that have offered Parks.
