SnapChat Filter Fun: Gender Swap With Coaches!

SnapChat’s new gender swap photo filter is a popular new feature on the social media app, which allows users to alter their appearance with the tap of a button. A man can instantly see how he might look as a woman; a woman can instantly see what she might look like as a man. Hello, 2019.

In my one very brief experience with SnapChat’s new viral tool, I found the gender swap filter to be very disturbing, and I quickly threw my phone across the room once I saw my girlfriend with a square jaw and a beard. It looks too real and I’ve never really been into thick brown facial hair on women. Call me old fashioned, I guess.

But after seeing all the fun people are having with it, plus my exhaustion from writing about the current state of UK basketball recruiting and the New Orleans Pelicans, I decided to bring SnapChat’s new feature to work with me so everyone at KSR can be disturbed by it too.

So here we go, familiar male faces thrown through the magical SnapChat lens and turned to women. Welcome to the beginning of a long summer of off-the-wall and weird content on Kentucky-Sports-Radio-dot-com.

Let’s start with the most handsome man in college basketball, Bruce Pearl. Bruce Pearl definitely looks like a woman who would ask to speak with your manager.

Some of you will have nightmares about the female version of Coach K:

Check out the glow up on Mark Stoops:

Rick Pitino looks like he could star in a drag show remake of Ally McBeal:

OK that is enough. This is too weird. What a terrible idea by me.
