Soles to announce his college decision Wednesday at noon
Good news for Kentucky Football and the program’s recruiting efforts may be on the horizon.
On Wednesday, one of the Wildcats’ targets, Steven Soles, will publicly make his college commitment. A three-star defensive talent, Soles visited Kentucky’s campus in Lexington last week. Shortly after the unofficial visit, he teased an upcoming announcement, and tonight, Soles tweeted that he will share his college decision Wednesday at noon.
Soles will make the announcement on the “No Playbook” podcast. KSR will have complete coverage of the decision as soon as it is public.
‘Cats in a great spot
Barring any sudden changes, Kentucky is in the driver’s seat on the eve of Soles’ commitment. The East Tennessee product is also considering Mississippi State, USF, and Virginia Tech–three other schools he visited–but Kentucky leads in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), including a pick from KSR’s own Adam Luckett.
Should Soles pledge his commitment to the Wildcats, he will become the 15th commitment in the Class of 2024. Additionally, he will claim one of the EDGE spots for the future, with eyes still on a couple of other high-profile names at the same position.
