South Carolina loses to Florida at home

Arguably Kentucky's toughest matchup on its remaining schedule looks a little easier after tonight. South Carolina, a team Kentucky will face in a hostile road environment later this month, lost at home, 72-68, to a Florida team that has been pretty bad all year long. To make matters worse, Florida did it without starting center Jon Horford, who Billy Donovan sat for conduct detrimental to the team. It was an ugly, ugly game basketball game from start to finish. The Gamecocks led at the break but gave up the lead around the 10-minute mark and never got it back. Florida was powered by that Finney-Smith guy with 20 points. Donovan called it the Gators' best game of the year.
