South Carolina Women's Basketball takes home National Title for the first time

For the first time in program history, the South Carolina Women's Basketball team has won the National Championship. The Gamecocks beat Mississippi State (who knocked out #1 UConn in the Final Four) 67-55.
This is also the first time an SEC school has won the women's title since Pat Summitt's Lady Vols in 2008. Though the Lady Hoops couldn't bring the title to Kentucky, an SEC victory is always a close second. Congratulations to the Gamecocks and Coach Dawn Staley!
