It's been three months since we've had sports in our lives and now we're getting an idea of how things will return. Golf is back next week, football's timeline hasn't changed, we now know the NBA is heading to Disney, the NHL has its Stanley Cup format, tennis is eyeing a comeback for the US Open, and MLB could be up and running again if all the rich folks would just get along. All these things put us on a crash course with a sports overload in the fall, and Sunday, September 20 may be the biggest day in sports history.
As
PFT Commenter pointed out on Twitter, that Sunday could look a little something like this:
Final round of the US Open at Winged Foot
Week 2 of the NFL season
NBA Playoffs
Stanley Cup Playoffs
Late MLB regular season games with playoff implications
All of that on one Sunday.
Clear your schedule.
