[caption id="attachment_196125" align="alignnone" width="722"]UK Athletics UK Athletics[/caption] --  ESPN Tweeted out the following stat: "Jamal Murray had 66 Pts in 2016 SEC Tournament, most by a UK player in a single SEC Tournament in last 20 years."  It's a good stat, except that his teammate, Tyler Ulis, actually outscored him in the tournament.  The tournament MVP's 30-point career-high gave him 72 points in three days.  The two combined for 138 of UK's 260 points in Nashville. --  Here are all of the players who have scored 30 points in an SEC Championship game: Alex Groza (1949), Bill Spivey (1950) and Tyler Ulis. --  Jamal Murray's 12-game streak with 20 or more points came to an end today (he's tied with Grevey for the second-longest streak in school history), finishing with only 15 points.  However, he's on pace to do something bigger.  After hitting three three-pointers, Murray is now tied the for second most made three-pointers by a freshman in D-I history (110). He needs just 13 to break the record that is currently held by Steph Curry. --  Derek Willis' game-winning three gave him 10 points on the day, joining Willie Cauley-Stein (2014) and Jamal Magloire (1999) at the only UK players to come off the bench and reach double figures. --  This is the 24th-straight game that a Wildcat has scored at least 20 points, the longest such streak since a Cat scored 20 or more in all 28 games of the 1969-70 season. --  After dishing out 15 assists throughout the SEC Tournament, Tyler Ulis only needs 6 more assists to break John Wall's single-season record.  He's given out at least 4 assists in 27 consecutive games.
