While you're all waking up and preparing to take on the day, I'm about to head back to bed (crafting this post demands a nap afterward). If you've been living under a rock and missed out on all of the important events of yesterday, never fear! I've got it all covered for you, check it out below. Kentucky beat Auburn In a game full of fouls and three's, the Kentucky Wildcats pulled out a home win against the Auburn Tigers. The 92-72 victory wasn't an easy one, especially when the Cats came out at halftime and allowed Auburn to cut the lead to four. Or check out these highlights: https://youtu.be/0FJv0a8mWXM Lynn Bowden committed to UK Screen Shot 2017-01-12 at 5.11.57 PM Coach Marks Stoops and the UK football program picked up a massive commitment yesterday afternoon when four-star (or five-star if you listened to him commit on the KSR pregame show) Lynn Bowden announced he will be joining the Kentucky Wildcats. He is the 23rd commitment and highest rated player in Mark Stoops' 2017 class. Bowden chose Kentucky over Penn State, West Virginia, among others. Mohamed Bamba is visiting next weekend Third-ranked power forward, Mohamed Bamba, is set to visit Kentucky next weekend. Bamba's top schools have been narrowed down to Duke, Kentucky, Michigan and Texas. He said in an interview following his win over Hillcrest Prep last night that Hamidou Diallo and Quade Green have been relentless in their efforts to get him to Kentucky. His decision will be announced in late March or early April, so stay tuned to KSR for all your recruiting coverage. Kentucky Women's Basketball plays at home today The UK Hoops team faces off against Georgia today at home at 3:00 p.m. Most recently the women had an impressive road win against Alabama. Kentucky and Georgia are both tied 2-2 in the SEC and this will be the 53rd all-time meeting between the two teams.
