Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt postponed due to COVID

by: Mrs. Tyler Thompson01/12/21@MrsTylerKSR

Another day, another COVID delay. The SEC just announced that the Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt men’s basketball game, scheduled for tonight in Nashville, has been postponed due to a combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Vanderbilt basketball program.

This game was moved up in the schedule after Tennessee and Vanderbilt’s original opponents for Saturday and tonight, South Carolina and Missouri, had to pause activities for positive cases and contact tracing. No makeup date has been announced, nor is it known if the ‘Dores and the Vols will play this Saturday at Thompson-Boling as previously scheduled. Kentucky played Vanderbilt a week ago in Rupp Arena, beating the ‘Dores 77-74.
