The Best of Kige Ramsey: A Logan County Day Special

Drew Franklinby: Drew Franklin09/10/20DrewFranklinKSR
Once upon a time, in an internet without influencers and YouTubers, in the era before the current era of talentless teenagers becoming millionaires without leaving their bedrooms, long before Tik and/or Tok, even years before the first ever Instagram post, there was one man and his handheld-sized digital camera in Russellville, Kentucky. Kige Ramsey, the creator, producer, director, videographer, editor and host of popular YouTube shows like YouTube Sports, YouTube Demonstrations, YouTube Outdoors, etc. A pioneer of sorts, Kige, a UK fan, saw potential in YouTube before anyone one else did (except Google). Kige saw a spot online for him to share his expertise in a wide array of subjects, all for the betterment of his viewers (or in his words, vures), and he seized that opportunity by flooding the video-sharing platform with short clips of life advice, sports talk and how-to demonstrations. And since we celebrated Russellville and Logan County, and heard from Kige himself, on today's episode the KSR radio show, now's a great time to play some his greatest hits.   How to properly shoot a free throw. https://youtu.be/g0bO1E3YhBE Even better, the How To Shoot A Free Throw outtake. https://youtu.be/b28Lp7vwAG0 How to throw a football (for YouTube Sports Demonstrations). https://youtu.be/EIKi6xwxwIw His very first video, "Cooking With Kige," taught us how to make pizza rolls. https://youtu.be/Nh0Df5OzDM0 He also took questions from the audience in a segment on relationship advice. https://youtu.be/dyP_qT0zK5c And last but not least, the time Kige tried his hand at Hollywood gossip when he gave his thoughts on Nicole Richie having anorexic. It's his most viewed video with over 111,000 views right now. https://youtu.be/88DX45Ex9yE So shout out to Kige Ramsey, our good buddy from the early days of KSR and still one of our favorites today. https://twitter.com/KSBarAndGrille/status/1046108783762698240
