I’m sure most of you have heard enough about that LSU game, so I’m not going to talk much about it. I’ll focus on Town Tavern and our watch party instead.
Town Tavern is located on 18
th Street near the Adams Morgan area of DC, about two miles from White House and U.S. Capitol. This location is a little easier for fans that live in the city to get to when they can’t make it out to Grevey’s.
When you walk up to Town Tavern, you’ll notice a UK flag on display outside. Inside there are a few decorations as well. Sometimes, if you’re lucky, the DC Alumni Club will be handing their shirts.
Town Tavern is a fun place to watch sports. It has a couple different bars, along with tables and booths throughout. You can see a TV from anywhere.
There was a good crowd, especially for a Tuesday night at 9pm. There are usually UK fans at Town Tavern for every game, and obviously bigger games will draw the bigger crowds.
