The Bluegrass Boys are Upset in the First Round of The Tournament

by: Nick Roush07/17/16@RoushKSR
bluegrass-boys It was too good to be true.  The Bluegrass Boys have been eliminated in their first game, falling to the Jackson (TN) Underdogs 87-78.   It's the first time a 1-seed has lost to a 16-seed in The Basketball Tournament. They had superior talent on the roster, but were left short-handed.  Summer League interferences prevented Scotty Hopson, Jordan Crawford, Chane Behanan and Marquis Teague from playing. The Kentucky alums had every opportunity to win.  When it was close, they got to the free throw line.  Unfortunately, they missed out on too many opportunities, ultimately losing out on the chance to win $2 million.
