With Kentucky’s 2015 recruiting class still in flux, it’s easy to get a little anxious about what next year’s team may look like; however, even with the Magnificent 7 headed to the NBA, CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish says there’s no reason for Kentucky fans to worry. Parrish released his “2015-16 Ridiculously Early Preseason Top 25 (and one)” and put the Cats at #1. Here’s why:

There are lots of moving parts with UK, per usual. But it would be foolish to assume John Calipari will have anything other than one of the nation’s best rosters even though he’s losing his top seven scorers. The guess here is that Kentucky will sign at least two more elite prospects — some combination of Jaylen Brown, Malik Newman, Stephen Zimmerman, Cheick Diallo and Thon Maker. Combine that likelihood with a core of Tyler Ulis, Alex Poythress, Marcus Lee, Isaiah Briscoe and Skal Labissiere — the latter of whom played so well last week at the Hoop Summit that he’s now projected as the top pick in the 2016 NBA Draft — and it’s reasonable to believe Kentucky will ultimately be the favorite to win the 2016 national championship.

See? Doesn’t that make you feel better?
