The Fan Outfitters College Basketball Contest (2/19/2011)

by:asdfasdf02/19/11
I swear I am not working on commission The College Basketball Contest sponsored by Fan Outfitters jumped from five to three remaining teams in the past couple days, not even pausing for Final Four recognition. Earlier this week: Against UConn, Georgetown finally found themselves on the losing end of a decision. So at least we've got that in common. Coastal Carolina fell narrowly to the perennial title contender Gardner-Webb, losing by 2. Any team that can beat UK at Rupp must be a perennial title contender...right? Unless (a?) Kentucky Gentleman is coaching your team. Saturday: Texas travels on the road, squaring off against Nebraska. Even more interesting, George Mason has to play at Northern Iowa. Northern Iowa lasted in this contest until Feb. 5, when they embarked on a 3 game losing streak. Princeton plays their second away game in two days at Brown. THE REMAINING ENTRANTS ARE: George Mason Patriots(Jeremy Stanfield) - Sat, Feb. 19 at Northern Iowa, 7pm ––––— Princeton Tigers(Tony Cambron) - Sat, Feb. 19 at Brown, 6pm ––––— Texas Longhorns(Jerry Moore) - Sat, Feb. 19 at Nebraska, 1:30pm
