The Kentucky Citrus Bowl Media Guide is here and it’s beautiful. Look for yourself.

UK Athletics

The purpose of the media guide is to inform the press with detailed facts and information about each team. It’s not just reserved for the professional journalists. For Kentucky fans that need to know everything about their favorite team, the media guide has 211 pages of material, ranging from player bios to game summaries and everything in-between.

Media Guide Fun Facts

  • The UK offense has scored a touchdown on its opening possession seven times in 12 games.
  • For just the second time in school history, UK has a 2,000-yard passer (Will Levis), 1,000-yard rusher (Chris Rodriguez Jr.) and 1,000-yard receiver (Wan’Dale Robinson) in a season — 2007 was the only other season (Andre’ Woodson, Rafael Little, Steve Johnson).
  • It’s the first time since 1949-52 the Cats have had at least eight total victories three times in a four-year span.
  • Kentucky has 32 victories since the start of the 2018 season. It ranks 16th among Power Five teams and sixth in the SEC.
  • Iowa and UK are tied for the longest non-conference winning streaks in FBS at 15.

Kentucky’s Citrus Bowl Depth Chart

Josh Ali was removed as the No. 1 X-receiver, but everything else remained the same. He’s still listed as an “or” punt returner, even though Liam Coen announced earlier this week that he will be unable to play after suffering an injury in an auto accident. There’s even players that have entered the transfer portal on UK’s Citrus Bowl depth chart. Don’t dig in too deep into the specifics of this document.
