The KSR Twitter Top 10

This isn't that kind of list, at least not yet[/caption]
Beginning next week, KSR will be delivering our very own version of the top-10, not plays of the day, but tweets. We will be scouring the Internet to bring you the best tweets of the previous day, the kind you would expect from KSR--ridiculous. You the fans have the chance to be a part of our top-10 and we encourage you to get involved by using hashtags like #BBN #KSR #KSRTopTen, or tweeting at us directly. While we will focus most of our attention on Kentucky sports-centric tweets, there are as usual no limits to our madness. So if your Nana likes to wear a wig when she's drunk, share it and she could become a KSR legend. In case you were wondering, yes, that was a Mean Girls reference.
It was a big day on Twitter ladies and gents: Kentucky showed life against the Thundering Marshall Hendersons, the Red Hot Chili Peppers went unplugged, and Bill Nye took a trip to the Creation Museum, but what other hot topics got our attention on social media (sorry Facebook...) yesterday?

2) If you live in Lexington and don't follow @HLpublicsafety, you should; who doesn't want hilarious police scanner tweets, school and road closings, public safety warnings, and the sentencing of violent criminals all in once place? Oh, and asking for more Twitter followers. They're really into that.
I can say from personal experience in following the Herald-Leader's public safety Twitter handle that this was the first time I've ever seen mention of something SO outside their lane as federal copyright law/sports blogging/a handful of photos from 2009-2010. Just drama. Twitter is beginning to feel eerily like Tin Roof.

4) The Continental Indoor Football League and Jared Lorenzen, made BIG waves this week, gaining recognition and airtime from Scott Van Pelt, Jim Rome, Sportscenter, the NFL, Trey Wingo, Deadspin--basically all 7.1 billion of the world's population.
And to beat a dead horse (or Bronco!) but Jared Lorenzen seriously just Beyoncéd the Internet yesterday.

It's a win win for parents and fellow fans as YES your kid is in fact annoying, just like any other.
