College football season ended last night and we are now in the midst of college basketball season, with conference play beginning tomorrow night for the Cats. It is important to note, however, that the spring sporting season is right around the corner. With that being said, you can expect to see a plethora of preseason rankings and today three baseball Cats were honored in a NCAA top-100 poll. The University announced today that three members of the UK baseball team have been ranked among the NCAA's top-100 players who will be available for the 2014 MLB Draft, according to Baseball America. Juniors Austin Cousino, A.J. Reed and Chandler Shepherd  made the list for the Cats, coming in at No. 97, No. 85 and No. 70, respectively. So, congrats to those guys. Kentucky will open the 2014 season on February 14 in Wilmington, North Carolina in a matchup with Virginia.   Go Cats     @DJohnson_KSR
