Big Blue Nation, this is an urgent request to not wait until 6 p.m. ET to arrive at Kentucky Proud Park for the Bat Cats’ postseason matchup vs. No. 3 seed Illinois. You will miss most of the game (and likely be very, very wet).

Due to impending weather in the forecast, Kentucky‘s game has been moved up to 55 minutes after the completion of Indiana State’s matchup vs. Western Michigan on Saturday, first pitch scheduled for 12 p.m. ET. That’ll be at approximately 4 p.m. ET, depending on how the first battle of the day unfolds.

What does that mean for ticket-holders looking to arrive early — a good idea considering Friday’s crowd at KPP? Fans with tickets to Game 4 between the Cats and Illini may enter the park during Game 3, but Indiana State and Western Michigan ticket-holders maintain reserved seat locations until the completion of the game. Kentucky and Illinois pass list members can also enter during Game 3, but their pass list seat locations will not be available until closer to the start of Game 4.
