Anthony Davis is Good at Basketball

The former Kentucky star did not waste any time making an impact for his new team as he went 7 of 11 for 17 points in just the first quarter of action. AD's teammates and coaches had high praise after an impressive performance, "I thought he was great from the beginning of the game, just his offset on the offensive end just to be able to get us extra possessions with rebounding. Knocking down shots. I think he had like five dunks in the first half. And communication on the defensive end. He's a very cerebral player. It was a good start for him." Lebron James said after the game. The Lakers ended up rolling to a 123-101 victory over the Golden State Warriors.

Florida beats Auburn, Kelly Bryant Injured

The college football slate did not provide any major upsets as the Washington Huskies were one of two ranked teams to lose this week. They fell to unranked Stanford by a score of 23-13. In the biggest SEC game of the week, #10 Florida pulled off a bit of an upset against #7 Auburn winning by a score of 23-14. Lamical Perine ran for 130 yards & a touchdown on 14 carries. Missouri quarterback, Kelly Bryant, left yesterday's game with a knee injury, and the video does not look good. https://twitter.com/YahooSportsCFB/status/1180600740143779840 Best wishes go out to Bryant as that is one of the dirtier hits you will see in college football this season.

Randall Cobb Facing His Old Team

The Dallas Cowboys host Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers in JerryWorld this afternoon. Coming off a tough loss to the Saints, you would have to think that the Cowboys should be able to hold off the injured ravaged Packers team. However, Rodgers is 4-0 lifetime playing in the state of Texas. It will be a little odd to watch as Rodgers and Cobb stand on opposite sidelines, but Cobb is trying to make it seem like it's just another week in the office for him. Tune in to Fox at 4:25 to catch the game as the NFL rolls into Week 5. Enjoy your Sunday, folks!
