Josh Forrest promoted from Seattle Seahawks practice squad

The Seattle Seahawks promoted Josh Forrest off the practice squad on Tuesday after placing LB Tre Madden who was put on injured reserve.

Forrest spent his rookie season with the Los Angeles Rams before landing on IR in November. Forrest appeared in 10 games for the Rams, starting four, and recording nine tackles. Forrest was waived/injured by the Rams prior to the start of the season and later released, and then signed to Seattle’s practice squad last month.

The Seahawks defeated the Arizona Cardinals 22-16 on Thursday Night Football.
