Trent Noah signed a Kentucky fan's car: 'Nothing like BBN'

The Kentucky Basketball team returns to campus this week for the start of the fall semester. Before making the trek from Harlan, Trent Noah made a fan’s day in a very unique way.
Noah held a meet and greet at Double Kwik in Pikeville on Wednesday. Among the many items he autographed was a…car? Oh yes, the Mountain Mamba posted a photo of himself signing a red car (Dodge Challenger?) in the Double Kwik parking lot on Instagram. It looks like he’s not the first person to do so.
“Nothing like BBN,” Noah wrote on his Instagram story.

This may remind you of another Kentucky Basketball fan-car encounter. Ten years ago, fans were licking Devin Booker’s car, also a Dodge Challenger, in the Wildcat Coal Lodge parking lot. We haven’t quite reached that level of craziness with this year’s team — yet — but clearly, BBN is excited. Does Sharpie come off in the car wash? I have a feeling this fan will go to great lengths not to find out.
If you’ve forgotten about the Devin Booker car licking trend, sadly, most of the photos have been taken off social media. Thankfully, Booker still has one up on his Twitter account from April 2015. He first revealed the odd behavior during an interview on Kentucky Sports Radio following the season, which just made more girls want to do it.
“Um, someone told me, ‘They did something to your car out there, I’m not gonna tell you,’ so I said, ‘What was it?’ and they said, ‘A girl licked your car.’”

Trent Noah stepping up in Year 2 at Kentucky
Trent Noah was reportedly one of the standouts of Kentucky’s summer workouts. His name came up early and often in interviews with his teammates as the best shooter on the team. Mark Pope echoed that praise in his conversation with Matt Norlander last week, talking about how he’s transformed from a terrified freshman into “the most veteran, seasoned voice on the floor.”
“He’s like, ‘Guys, just everyone relax. Let me explain what Coach is saying right now.’ It’s actually so fun to watch from summer to summer and season to season, watching these guys grow.”
In May — before Noah’s impressive performance during summer workouts — Pope said Noah is a prime candidate for a breakout season.
“He’s got a chance, guys,” he said. “You know, doing it here is different than doing it anywhere else, and being a Kentucky legend is different than being anything anywhere else. Trent Noah is made different, man. He just is made different. … I just know how this is going to turn out. I know how it’s going to turn out in the next couple of years, I know how it’s going to turn out 30 years from now, and I’m happy for him.”
