Trey Lyles will wear the number 41 this season, according to this picture he just posted on Instagram. If you missed it yesterday, Lyles will be out this summer while he recovers from a medical procedure on his left leg. He'll be back in time for fall practice to start up in September.
The only other UK basketball player to wear #41? Mark Pope, from 1993-1996. Lyles was born at the beginning of Pope's senior year, so yeah, let's all feel a little old right now.
