Well sort of. Tubby Smith will be inducted into the Maryland State Sports Hall of Fame this summer....joining the likes of Al Kaline, Babe Ruth, Pam Shriver and Frank "Home Run" Baker.  Not sure who "Home Run" Baker is, but I bet he was not a great bunter.  Pretty distinguished company for the Tubster.

That got me to thinking.....we should start a Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame (and if there is one, then act like there is not for sake of discussion.  Who is the opening class....aka the creme de la creme of Kentucky sports.  You can either be born in the state or completed your accomplishments in the state.  10 initial inductees....who are they?  Discuss.....
