Tubby Smith accepted his induction into the UK Athletic Hall of Fame this evening, marking his first return trip to Lexington since his time as the head coach of the University of Kentucky. An emotional Tubby Smith was given a standing ovation when his name was called. Smith had a great quote during his speech, “You can leave Kentucky, but Kentucky never leaves you.”
