Georgia is making serious push for former Kentucky OL commit Tyreek Jemison

Bye weeks are supposed to be huge recruiting opportunities for every college football program. Unfortunately, Kentucky was hit with some bad news before some weekend recruiting activity could take place. The Cats now sit with just one offensive line prospect in the 2026 high school class.
Tyreek Jemison backed off his pledge to Kentucky just over three months after committing to the Cats in June. The high three-star prospect picked UK over Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, and NC State over the summer. But another program has entered the chat. Georgia is now a major player in this Peach State recruitment.
Jemison has been in contact with Georgia offensive line coach Stacy Searels. The Bulldogs will host the in-state prospect for an official visit this weekend when Ole Miss and “College GameDay” roll into Athens for a big game weekend at Sanford Stadium.

“Me and the offensive line coach, were talking. He was just telling me that he sees the same thing he saw while he was recruiting Donnie (Dontrell Glover) and Juan Gaston. Georgia recruiting them and recruiting me; it’s just a lot of the same. He was like he wants guys from Georgia who really want to play in the SEC,” Jemsion told Dawgs HQ. “He also wants guys who want to play for their hometown state and play in red or black. It just means like a bunch to me.”
Tyreek Jemison does not have an offer from Georgia yet but that will likely be arriving soon. The Bulldogs are hosting the offensive line prospect for an official visits for a reason. The Dawgs might just complete the flip sooner rather than later.
