According to LEX 18, Kentucky basketball's assistant strength and conditioning coach, Brian Shorter, was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with assault and wanton endangerment after an altercation with his wife. The bizarre incident happened in their home on Russell Springs, where the victim claims Shorter
locked her in the garage with no heat and then returned 40 minutes later to throw water on her. She then escaped to a nearby hotel and called police.
A statement from UK Athletics said, "We're aware of the situation and we're gathering information."
