Kentucky is 5-0 and ranked No. 13 in the AP Poll, which still feels like a dream. How remarkable is the Cats’ start this season? Let’s revel in these ten amazing stats:

1. Kentucky is 5-0 for the first time since 2007 and the fifth time since World War II (also 1949, 1950, 1984).

2. Kentucky is 3-0 in SEC play for the first time since 1977, which is also the last time the program finished above .500 in conference play

3. Kentucky opened the season with five consecutive wins by at least 11 points for the first time since 1950.

4. Kentucky is one of 14 undefeated teams in college football.

5. Kentucky is 14-5 in its last 19 regular season games, the best 19-game regular-season stretch since Nov. 13, 1976, to Oct. 21, 1978 (14-4-1).

6. Kentucky has allowed 33 points in three SEC games this season, the fewest in the first three SEC games since 1977.

7. Kentucky is tied with Auburn for third in the nation in scoring defense, allowing only 12.6 points per game.

8. Kentucky is first in the SEC in rushing offense (259.2 yards per game) and rushing touchdowns (16).

9. Kentucky is fifth in the country in opponent penalties (90.8 penalty yards per game).

…saving the best for last:

10. Kentucky is one of only THREE Power 5 schools that have beaten their opponents by 11 points or more this season. The other two? Alabama and Georgia. (Update: It’s actually four, I forgot about NC State)
