UK remains strong in computer rankings

skal-flex With seven losses, UK fans have grown accustomed to watching the team bounce around in the polls this season. Pollsters have ranked the Cats as high as 1st and as low as 23rd so far this year. With that type of volatility, it's been difficult to gauge where UK stands relative to other programs. Alas, as the team's identity starts to solidify, their rankings are beginning too as well. Despite last night's loss, the computers still say that UK is about the 12th best team in the country. Here is where UK stands in several computer polls as of this afternoon: Sagarin: 12th KenPom: 8th RPI: 12th BPI: 15th So, at the end of the day, last night's loss seems to be the least impactful of the season (save Kansas). Let's try to avoid any more going forward, shall we?
