UK Softball Hosting Big Blue Boo at John Cropp Stadium

Fall isn’t just for football. The Kentucky softball team is hosting Big Blue Boo, a tentpole event for the fall season, this Friday at John Cropp Stadium.
This isn’t just a chance to watch the Wildcats play some softball. Kentucky is hosting a fall festival for families that kicks off at 5:30 PM ET. Kids can wear their Halloween costumes and get their faces painted to get in the festive spirit. There will be games, prizes, and so much more.

In addition to all of the silly fun, there’s a real game taking place on the field, one that is typically decorated for the season by the Kentucky grounds crew. Indiana is the opponent for the 7 PM ET game, and it’s going to air on SECN+. Both teams made the NCAA Tournament in the spring.
Admission to the event is free for all patrons. Kentucky Softball season ticket holders from 2025 will get a 30-minute exclusive window to enter the fall festival at 5 p.m. ET before it opens to the general public at 5:30 p.m. ET, as has been the case in the past. Parking will be available in the John Cropp Stadium lots, and the purple and blue lots of Kroger Field with free shuttles to and from those lots to JCS before and after the event.
Fall is a wonderful time of year. Enjoy a festival with the Kentucky softball team at Big Blue Boo.
