UK transitions to mobile ticketing for football home games

UK Athletics will move forward with mobile ticketing as the sole way to enter and attend home football games during the 2020 season.
In an announcement made this afternoon, UK Athletics said the school will “fully transition” to mobile ticketing moving forward, as this method “enhances convenience and safety for all fans while safeguarding against the danger of counterfeit tickets.”
UK Athletics will no longer mail printed ticket books to season ticket holders and the discontinuation of print-at-home (PDF) tickets will be in place this season. Now, all fans will receive their tickets and parking passes via mobile delivery. Complete information about mobile ticketing – including resources to learn about accessing them and FAQs – is available at UKathletics.com/mobiletickets.

Use of mobile ticketing has surged in recent years, at UK Athletics events and elsewhere. In addition to enhanced safety due to minimizing contact at entry, mobile tickets enable fans to enjoy more control in the management of tickets. The transition to mobile tickets will also allow UK Athletics maximum flexibility in adapting to possible operational changes this season.
Ticket holders will use the UK Athletics App to access and manage tickets. Fans are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with mobile ticketing, access tickets and save them to your phone’s digital wallet prior to arriving at the venue. Fans needing further assistance ahead of Saturday’s home opener are encouraged to contact the UK Ticket Office at (800) 928-2287 (option 4) or reach out by email at [email protected]. Mobile help locations will be set up on the exterior of Kroger Field at the Guest Services booths to assist fans with Wi-Fi connectivity. A limited number of tickets are still available online at UKathletics.com/2020football or by contacting the UK Ticket Office directly.
