Kentucky will play a football game at Kroger Field for the first time in over a month. It will occur on one of the busiest sports weeks on the calendar in Lexington. Many will be partaking in the Keeneland-Kentucky football double-dip. When patrons finally make their way into the stadium, they will see the Wildcats wearing a popular uniform combo.

The Cats will be rocking chrome domes with blue jerseys and blue pants against No. 21 Texas.

UK rocked this same jersey combination for an October double-dip just last year. The Cats dropped a 24-10 game to Auburn in a game where the Tigers rushed for over 300 yards. The Cats also wore this jersey combination in a 38-35 loss to Clemson in the Gator Bowl to end the 2023 season. Another loss in this jersey combo came in another October home game to South Carolina in 2022. The program’s last win in this jersey combo came in the Citrus Bowl against ranked Iowa to end the 2021 campaign.

Can the chrome-blue-blue losing streak be snapped on Saturday night?
