The NFL threatened to fine the former Wildcat due to a "uniform violation". Despite the NFL's threats, Avery Williamson opted to wear the cleats after all. Here is an in-game photo of Williamson and his cleats custom-made by Lexington business, True Blue Customs.   https://twitter.com/ChrisHarrisWSMV/status/775017296955858944 Good for Avery for standing up and fighting for a cause; one that every American has been affected by in some shape or form. PAPD, the police association located in New York City that patrols the World Trade Center, as well as other New York and New Jersey police unions, reached out to the Titans linebacker offering to the pay the fine. We have not yet heard from the NFL and the consequence that will be handed down to Williamson.
