South Carolina continued exhibition play on Sunday night, and there were rumors five-star forward Zion Williamson would be in attendance.
His mother told reporters her son would be visiting the school this weekend, so fans were on the lookout for the YouTube sensation.
After seeing what looked to be Williamson behind the bench, "We want Zion" chants echoed through the arena.
There was definitely a recruit in attendance, but it wasn't Zion Williamson.
In fact, the prospect was 2019 forward D.J. Burns. Burns is 6'9, 235 lbs., roughly four inches taller and 40 pounds lighter than Williamson.

Close enough, right?
They probably would've had a better chance yelling "Malcolm-Jamal Warner" if we're being honest...

I'm sure Williamson appreciated the gesture, but there is no denying this is embarrassing for the Gamecock fanbase.
Better luck next time...
