We're still a long way away from the NCAA Tournament, but Joe Lunardi's optimism about UK's chances of landing a top seed in March got me wondering just how serious the world is taking this team as a title contender.
According to Vegas Insider, the Cats are being taken pretty seriously. As of this afternoon at 2, Kentucky is behind only Duke and tied with Michigan State and Kansas State (really?) at with 10/1 odds of hanging banner #8. The media darlings with the soft schedule, Ohio State, are at 18/1, while the junior college down I-64 with a soft schedule has 40/1 odds. Pretty surprising.
PSA: Don't Gamble. It leads to a life of drugs, misery and your family leaving you. Or wealth and supermodels. There's no middle ground.
