VICE Sports hails Kentucky basketball
In VICE Sports’ college basketball weekly wrap up, VICE praises the Kentucky Wildcats. The Champions Classic showed the world that the Cats are still number No. 1 despite losing six players to the NBA.
Kentucky might not go 40—0–and, given how much the pressure mounts with each win during an undefeated season, that might be a good thing–but the Wildcats have to be the title favorites. Again. Putting anyone above them is just overthinking it.
VICE called Kentucky the nation’s most talented team and called Tyler Ullis the most underrated point guard in the country. The Kentucky-Duke matchup was the second ranked game this week behind Maryland-Georgetown, which is total craziness.
The article goes on to discuss Indiana and Tom Crean and Wisconsin’s loss to Western Illinois. VICE Sports does a really good job at recapping the week in college basketball in a different, fun way. You can read the full article here.
