- When the SEC Network launches here on August 14th, the University of Kentucky
can expect to be cashing in big time on what will be an uncharted territory for the school as Jennifer Smith reports.
- Last night, a new group of players and coaches
were inducted into the Kentucky Basketball Hall of Fame as Mark Story writes. Included in the introductions were Kentucky native Chris Lofton, and historic wildcats Jack "Goose" Givens, Vernon Hatton, and Frank Ramsey just to name a few.
- UK Volleyball players Morgan Bergren and Jackie Napper both competed for the U.S. College National Teams this past month. UK Athletics has
a nice wrap-up of the pairs experience with the teams.
- Finally, fellow sports blog Deadspin found a Lebron James newspaper cover from the sports section of the New York Times
